Privacy Policy

• Your name (or Gupt Daan, if you prefer to stay anonymous), mobile number and, optionally, email address.
• For some sevas: the sankalp names, gotra, occasion date or visit slot you give us, and a contact or delivery address if prasad is to be sent to you.
• An optional prarthana or manokamna (prayer or wish) that you type.
• Your declaration that you are an Indian citizen, with the date and time you made it.
• Payment reference IDs (order and payment IDs) and the amount. Your card, UPI or bank details are entered in Razorpay's payment window and are never seen or stored by us.

Devotees who volunteer through the Become a Sevak form also give us the details they enter in that form.

• To confirm your seva, issue a Seva ID and receipt, and update you as it is carried out (including photos).
• To let you look up your seva in Track My Seva using your phone number.
• To contact you about your booking, a refund, or a problem with a payment.
• To keep the accounting and legal records a charitable trust must maintain, and to meet the Indian-citizen requirement described in our Terms.

• The Seva Board, Seva Parivar wall and Top Bhakt leaderboard show the name you entered. If you choose Gupt Daan, you appear as “Ek Bhakt” and your name is not shown.
• Amounts are shown only for the top ranks on the leaderboard and against seva items, not next to every name.
• A prarthana appears on the Digital Patrika only after the committee approves it. A manokamna for a jyoti is private and is read only by the pujari at sankalp.
• Your phone number and email are never shown publicly.

We do not sell or rent your details. We use these service providers, who handle data only to provide their service:

• Razorpay to take your payment.
• Supabase for the database and file hosting that hold our records.
• Resend to send confirmation emails, where you gave an email address.
• Cloudflare, which serves this website.

We may also disclose information where the law or a government authority requires it.

We keep seva, payment and receipt records for as long as the trust's accounts, audit and legal obligations require. Other details are kept only while they are useful for the seva you asked for.

You can ask us to correct your details, or to delete them where the law allows (records we must keep for accounts and audit cannot be deleted). To ask, email contact@hilltopdurgamatamandir.in and quote your Seva ID or the phone number you used.

We use only essential cookies, for staff and admin login. We do not use advertising or analytics trackers. To save you typing, checkout remembers your name, phone and email on your own device (browser storage); you can clear it from your browser settings. Razorpay's payment window may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy.
